Synopsis

Edoardo, the Earthly One of Dolce and Kabale, is outside the school when Nico shows off his new scooter. As he gives one of the Bad Girlz a ride, Edoardo watches in envy of such a cool machine.

Later, Edoardo invites the Bully Boyz and classmate Carlo to his home, assuring them his parents are gone. The group sits down to play a game of poker, betting real money.

At the same time, Dolce is having a blast at the mall, looking through all the amazing earthly fashions even if she can’t wear it. Aside from window shopping, the group came to find Andrea and Ginevra who are going on a date to the movies. Urie and Raf compliment the connection between their humans but are found by Cabiria and Sulfus who mock such an idea. Raf is not happy to see Sulfus and he reminds her Andrea is his charge too, so he’ll follow the boy aroudn just like Raf does.

Cabiria takes all this bickering to mean Raf likes Sulfus, teasing him about this while snaps at her and Raf looks nervous. Dolce calls this idea ridiculous so Cabiria teases her next, asking why she’s at the mall when her human isn’t there. Sulfus reveals that as Dolce is distracted, Kabale is doing her job by tempting Edoardo.

Sure enough, Kabale is watching the card game at Edoardo’s house which is getting more expensive by the minute. She can see Carlo is ready to win and despite the misgivings of her mascot Nosferatu, she transforms Edoardo’s cards so he wins the pot. Dolce arrives at this point, completely confused while Kabale gloats. The Bully Boyz compliment Edoardo’s card shark skills and leave, but Carlo remains as he wants to talk to Edoardo. The boy admits that the money he bet wasn’t his own but that of his father who is struggling financially. He’d taken it without telling his parents, hoping to win more through this game, but now worries what will happen to his family without it. He begs Edoardo to give him back the money and though the boy really wants to use it to buy a scooter, his does feel bad for Carlo and asks for some time to consider the request. Dolce believes Edoardo will give the money back and while Kabale disagrees, they head to the Challenge Room.

Kabale has chosen their battle this time, taking place is an amusement park, though Dolce is confused on what the rules of the challgne are. All Kable declares is that the angel should keep up with her, jumping off the roller coaster and using her Invisible Fly to lead Dolce on a chase. They land in a Hall of Mirrors where Kabale enjoys confusing the angel with her Double Fly.

The masked woman in the other dimension casts a spell over the items she stole: Raf’s tear-covered handkerchief and Sulfus glove which touched the mark of the V.E.T.O. With her great powers, she blends the objects together to be her weapon to escape this place, Limbo, and get her revenge by swaying the hearts of Raf and Sulfus.

Kabale teases Dolce on being so confused with no rules to consult. However, the angel decides that if there are no rules, she’ll just make them herself. She actives her Stop Fly to attack all the Kabale copies, finding the real one and finally catching her. Kabale isn’t pleased with these results but as she didn’t specify rules, Dolce is allowed to win on her own call. She gets the first move influencing their human.

Dolce finds Edoardo at the bike shop and though she sees how much he wants the scooter, she has an idea of how to change his mind. She activates her metamorphosis to become a bike mechanic, then approaches Edoardo while claiming the scooter he wants is actually full of problems. She goes on to give him a message about people mattering more than machines until Kabale cuts in, already in human form and riding one such scooter herself. Dolce complains about the violated V.ET.O., confusing Edoardo though Kabale plays it off as Dolce being crazy.

Kabale invites the boy for a ride on the scooter and he greatly enjoys it, even as Kabale breaks speeding laws and runs red lights. Dolce tries to stop them while disguised as a traffic cop but Kabale blows right past this, too. By the end of the ride, Edoardo is now set on buying the bike meaning Kabale has won the challenge.

Arkhan is disappointed by what’s happened, both that Edoardo’s soul has been tainted and that Carlo’s family will face great hardship for their lost savings. Dolce tearfully apologies for losing the battle, even thoguh Arkhan compliments her for following the rules properly. When she complains of Kabale breaking the V.E.T.O., ARkhan scolds her for suggesting angels should brek rules too. He does agree how difficult an angel’s job is, declaring that devils cannot be trusted which make Raf wonder if this would also apply to Sulfus. Even so, they must do their best to keep fighting as the humans are the ones in true danger and it is the task of angels to defend creation from every menace.

Down in the other dimension, Limbo, the masked woman’s spell has been completed and melded the handkerchief and glove into a dark spider. She gives it to Malachia who once more returns to the earthly realm.
