Synopsis[]
Raf is packing her belongings, ready to be expelled from Golden School, even if the verdict hasn’t been passed yet. Sulfus is doing the same and both Urie and Gas are heartbroken by it. The teens are summoned to the president's chamber and, once more before the headmasters, are given their punishments. Before they proclaim judgement, they revisit the issue of the Tournament of Light and Dark in which two students will be expelled. However, Misha and Gabi rise, wishing to be the chosen ones they expel. This is shocking, especially to the devilish headmistress, but Misha defends that as the students were under their watch, it is the guardian devil and angel who must take the punishment of their actions. The Headmasters agree and, after letting them say their goodbyes, banish both angel and devil from the Golden School.
Now it is time for Raf and Sulfus's punishment for their crimes. While they await the pronouncement from their High and Low Spheres, the two will be confined within the school, forced to wear Amulets of Restriction that lock away even their abilities of flight. As for their human charges, they will be under the protection of their friends who will be pulling two shifts for them. Sulfus complains of this punishment, declaring that as the teachers know someone is after them, they should do something to help the students.
Back at the Mistery House, Reina continues to repair the dilapidated building with magic. All except for one room which she cruelly tells Malachia to straighten out by hand, for no reason other than to torment him.
With the humans, Matteo is asleep as his class ends and awakens to find that his teacher has left his wallet behind, giving him a chance to use his money for his own purposes.
Cabiria runs to Sulfus's room, looking for his advice on Matteo, given that he was once his charge. Deciding to help her out of his own boredom, he instructs Cabiria to first defeat Miki in the Challenge Room.
It’s a horse track riding competition. Miki slows Cabiria down with stickers but the devil summons a pack of panthers to scare her horse into flinching, giving her the lead. Miki convinces the steed to ride through them but, finding a panther cub cowering right at the finish line, she's forced to halt, giving Cabiria the win.
For her first move, Cabiria tempts Matteo to spend the money on a cool skateboard, showing off its abilities. The boy is intrigued and inquires of the cost, to which she declares it's worth any price. He clearly wants it and considers using the teacher's money to pay for it.
Miki goes to Raf with this dilemma and the grounded angel tell her to make Matteo feel empathetic to his teacher. For her move, Miki transforms into a street corner musician, distracting Matteo while her mascot Lula snatches his own wallet out of his pocket. When the boy goes to buy his skateboard, he's shocked to find his wallet missing and Miki arrives to "return it " to him, saying that a good deed is its own reward. Now understanding how it would feel from the other side, Matteo denies to buy the skateboard and the following day, leaves the wallet on his teacher's desk where he believes he'd left it.
The other angels congratulate Miki for a job well done and she gives credit to Raf's idea. The girl admits she doesn't feel any better and Urie encourages her that the truth will be all she needs.
In the late evening, Reina rests in her home, gazing at the Golden School while Malachia informs her he's finished cleaning out the room she instructed him to. She goes to see it and, after sending Malachia off, she finally withdraws the mysterious item she wouldn't allow him to handle before. It's revealed to be a picture of Malachia. She locks the portrait inside the room and prepares to begin again, mentioning her life's greatest sacrifice.
