Synopsis[]
With their hiding place exposed, Raf and Sulfus run from the minotaur who gives chase. Despite Sulfus’s misgivings, Raf decides to stop running and fight, both returning to their angelic/demonic forms to regain their powers. Meanwhile, Urie, Dolce, Kabale, and Cabiria prepare their encounter with Malachia’s eagle army. They face off against Malachia, ignoring his warnings to turn back and are quickly attacked by his birds. Cabiria uses her Wild Fly to call in reinforcements, but once Malachia uses the Black Sphere to enhance his minions, they are once again overpowered. Urie develops a new plan of attack and with the use of a lighting storm, defeats Malachia and clears a path to their missing friends.
Sulfus taunts the beast into charging, instructing Raf to leave it to him which she believes is very brave of him. He launches Fire Fly but it has little effect and Raf must jump in with Rock Fly to protect them both from the monster’s counterattack. Sulfus is surprised by Raf’s dedication to protect him from harm, even though she is sustaining damage using her Rock Fly. As her energy fades, the shield is lowered and she begs Sulfus to go on without her. He refuses and attacks the monster head on to lure him away from the angel, then finds a second depiction of the odd angel and devil, this time locked in a kiss.
Sulfus is no match for the minotaur and as it threatens to crush him, Raf swoops to his rescue. He asks why she didn’t run off and she reminds him that he didn’t leave her alone, thus she won’t leave him, either. They embrace, waiting for the minotaur to attack them once more.

- Sulfus finds an image of Tyco and Sai kissing, which greatly shocks him. This kiss will be important later on.
