Synopsis[]
It’s a new school day and Gas is having trouble with his textbook, unable to shrink it down like they were showed by their professors. Sulfus is distracted by Basilisco, still under hypnosis by Blu and her bosses, which allows them to control Sulfus. Gas calls to him for help and Sulfus advices him to "act like Gas". Gas takes this advice and stomps his textbook flat, making it more manageable for him to bring to class.
Raf is in her diary again, writing of how Sulfus has disappointed her and she can’t tell him her true heart anymore; it's sad but at least she has her friends. Speaking of, Urie is stressed while studying up on her human, Sara J, who she predicts will face a troubling situation today. In class, Cassidy is giving them a special lesson and mentions that this year they will be so busy with class, it will be hard to keep on top of the humans. To help, she presents them all with Spy-bell bracelets that will alert them when the need arises to influence them. The devils have received the same and Cabiria's begins to ring, for which Kubral lets her leave class to see to her human. Urie does the same and Raf and Dolce (plus Sulfus and Kabale) are ordered to another assignment, helping set up the Internet classroom. Miki and Gas are sentenced to the gym for some physical exercise.
Urie and Cabiria arrive to Sara J's class, Urie giving her a run down on how accomplished the human is while Cabiria mocks her as a nerd. At this moment, two of Sara J's classmates come to ask her for her notes which she happily lends them, helping Cabiria's point that people like her only for her brains. However, the girls then ask if Sara J would like to hang out someday, which delights Urie though Sara J warns she might be stuck practicing her piano. This draws ridicule from the Bad Girlz who, as Cabiria gleefully informs Urie, have been held back. Sara J ignores the bullies and tells her classmates she'll see if she can hang out. The eternals suspect Sara J is worried that her mother will forbid she to go out and ready for the competition of morals this will bring.
Meanwhile, Raf, Dolce, Sulfus, and Kabale are in the internet classroom, overseen by Omnia and Gnosis, who's repartee entertain the children, even as they're having trouble with the computers. Terrence is teaching Miki about weight training and Scarlett torments Gas on the treadmill.
Much later, Urie and Cabiria are watching Sara J practice her piano for hours when her mother finally arrives. She ask her permission to hang out with her friends but her mother immediately rejects the idea, wanting Sara J to practice continuously for her next concert which she'll be inviting important people to. She continues to deny Sara J's begging, declaring she will not end up a "failure" like her father. Sara J is outraged by this unfairness and begins to foster ideas of rebelling, to Cabiria's delight and Urie's worry. Urie finds trouble in defending why Sara J shouldn't rebel and they take it to the challenge room.
Gas returns to his dorm room where Sulfus waits, thoroughly exhausted for his time in the gym. Sulfus pities him but is more concerned about how to warn Raf of the danger around them. At this moment, Basilisco begins to glow and slinks out of the room. Sulfus tries to pursue him but loses track of the snake, needing to be quicker next time. The mascot arrives to the hidden location of Blu and her bosses. Having been summoned to show them images of how Sulfus continues to ignore Raf as ordered.
In the dorm of the angels, it is fully night but Urie still hasn't returned from aiding Sara J, making her friends worried. Urie and Cabiria have just arrived to the challenge room but as they consider what to make their game, the room has chosen for them: ENIGMA.
