Synopsis[]
The Golden School is being repaired following the sacrilege of Raf and Sulfus's embrace. In her room, Raf is reliving the experience and the reactions of everyone when they returned from the past and admitted to their action. Though their friends were shocked that the two would kiss one another, their teaches were outraged and cancelled the Tournament of Light and Dark, denying both sides the power of Projection but also declaring that as both teams are declared losing, both sides will sacrifice one member to be expelled from the school. Though Raf and Sulfus protest the treatment of their friends, they are sentenced to disciplinary hearings for their crimes.
Returning to the present, Urie comes to find Raf who admits she hasn't slept while worrying over the disciplinary hearing. Urie invites her to have breakfast with their friends, but Raf declines, preferring to stay in her room.
In the cafeteria, Urie shares her worries with Dolce and Miki who agree that they must find a way to help her. They are approached by Kabale, Cabiria, and Gas who also want to help Sulfus, presenting the idea that there is more to this situation than it seems. They propose to be their friends' defense in the hearing, presenting the truth like the story of Tyco and Sai and the mysterious happenings that have been pushing the angel and devil closer without their desire. It might not be enough to save them, but they agree it's worth a shot.
Meanwhile, Gabi is sulking in the courtyard until being found by Misha who snaps him out of it and shares her experience of unexplainable sudden affection for her charge, the same as him. They too realize someone was preventing them from completing their tasks to protect them and as such, they were made into puppets.
Reina is still reveling in her victory and her freedom, while Malachia packs her belongings for their journey out of Limbo. He does inquire about a mysterious wrapped package he found, but she takes it with explanation. Malachia worries that someone might notice they've escaped so she leaves behind her Pherox army to take care of anyone who comes snooping. Then, with her servant, Reina finally leaves Limbo.
Back on earth, Urie and the angels find Raf asleep on her bed, where they present her with dinner and a promise to stand by her side at the hearing.
At last, the disciplinary hearing begins with Raf and Sulfus standing accused of willfully committing a sacrilege. In the midst of the accusation, the other students step in as their defense. They present the evidence of the Challenge Room trap, the Pherox ambush, and finally the Tournament set up. They insist that all of these are a part of some enemy's master plan against their friends and while the teachers accept the possibility, they will only postpone the final declaration of punishment until they can properly investigate the situation.
Reina leads Malachia to an old house in disrepair, telling him that it was once their old home. As she enters the grounds and the building, everything begins to magically repair itself and the building greets her as its mistress.
