Synopsis[]
Human classes end for the day and everyone leaves except for Edoardo who's received a disappointing message from his father, once more breaking a promise to his son. Ginevra returns to the room to retrieve a lost item and is witness as an enraged Edoardo destroys the classroom. He is immediately regretful and flees, not noticing that Ginevra has seen everything.
Up in the Angel dorms, Raf is complaining to her friends that Sulfus has disappointed her by putting his duty as a devil over Andrea's life. They, however, remind her that it is his nature as a devil to do such and she shouldn't expect him to act another way anymore than she could act anyway but angelic. At that moment, they are summoned to the Angel's classroom where Arkhan scolds them for being inattentive to their humans. Now with Edoardo having committed vandalism and Ginevra witnessing it, Urie has a tricky situation to solve. Telling the truth would not be a simple solution as Ginevra would be rewarded with becoming class president at the expense of Edoardo's punishment, making it an act of selfishness. And to keep the secret would make her an accomplice to the crime. It's up to the angels to find a third option. Dolce apologizes for her neglect to her responsibilities, but Urie declares she'll fix things.
She meets Cabiria in the Challenge Room where she gloats of her recent successes over the devil. They fight in underwater combat, where Urie has the advantage. She makes the first move which Cabiria counters by attacking her with sharks. But Urie restrains them with seaweed, then sweeps her adversary in a whirlpool until she has no choice but to surrender the challenge, granting Urie the first move.
Taking on the guise of a police officer, Urie accosts Ginevra for information on who vandalized the classroom, even stating that to hold her tongue would make her an accomplice. The girl admits it was Edoardo but, upon hearing that expulsion would be his punishment, she is regretful. Urie offers her an alternative choice: convince Edoardo to turn himself in which would clear her involvement and give him a chance to lighten his sentence. Ginevra is ecstatic over this idea and Urie believes she's won.
However, on Ginevra's way home, she is approached by Cabiria, posing as the class president of another school, and telling her of the exciting perks that come with being class presidents, especially trips abroad for the "Class President Leadership Conventions." As Ginevra tries to make her decision, the devils compliment Cabiria for her work, though Sulfus warns that the angels are getting better, clearly still upset about his falling out with Raf. Elsewhere, the angels are also complimenting Urie for designing a third option. They're all confident that Ginevra will do the right thing, though Raf points out that anyone can make a mistake.
In the end, Ginevra gives into the temptations and gives up Edoardo's name to their teachers, scoring another point for the devils. Meanwhile, in the Mystery House, Malachia inquires why Reina has not struck out against the eternals since their escape from Limbo. She explains that, as their existence is now known, she's waiting for things to calm down before making her move against them.
