Synopsis[]
The angel and devil interns surround the intruding eternals, demanding they surrender. When the disguised Kubral laughs at this, Gas launches the first attack though his Burger Fly is easily deflected. Sulfus takes over with his Fire Fly, scoring a direct attack on the disguised Cassidy but she reveals to have protected herself with stone armor, making his fire useless.
The angel students declare the devils incompetent and that they will take over the fight. Miki and Dolce combine their attacks , but this too proves futile to which Cassidy mocks them right back. Omnia and Gnosis worry for their trainees.
The two Knights continue to mock the students who refuse to give up even while continuing to bicker among the ranks. Rather than waste their time any further, the headmasters decide to bring in someone else to do the fighting and unleash great magic that resurrects the Roman Colosseum, putting the teachers and tourists into the audience. They have also brought back several ancient gladiators and give them instructions to hunt down the students before taking their leave.
Raf tries to follow after them but the gladiators knock her from the sky, sending her crashing into their arena. The other angels come to her aid and Urie faces off against the gladiators in defense of her friend. Gnosis has no hope for them, but Omnia reminds him they've been developing new powers.
Urie uses the power of her mascot, Lightning, to blind the gladiators and give Raf a chance to get back in the air. While Dolce gloats that they are out of reach, one of the gladiators dawns winged sandals, allowing him to chase the angels through the sky. Just before he can strike Raf with a mace, Sulfus cuts in. He discovers his own new power of Iron Fly and can now shield himself from the worst of the attacks, though can’t fight back.
Cabiria catches the gladiator with her Web Fly net and sends him crashing back to the ground. Kabale goes in for the last attack, using her Tricky Tricky which turns the ground to quicksand and swallows four of the five attackers. The devils cheer for their victory and gloat over the angels.
But the battles isn’t over yet as the gladiators are resurrect once again, this time with tigers and horse-drawn chariots, all equipped with the ability to fly. The interns scatter at this new assault, Miki and Sulfus are stuck and Gas is tormented by the tigers. Raf realizes that they must defeat the gladiator leader, Brutis, but doing so requires some co-operation.
She uses her Think Fly to contact the angels and devils, declaring they must cast a simultaneous Prism Fly. The devils are not excited at the prospect of teaming up, but Sulfus backs Raf's plan for which she is grateful. They all transform to their Prism Fly forms and with their attacks, wipe out the gladiators. They give congratulations to one another, Urie and Cabiria stop short of high-fiving, and Raf considers that she might be able to trust in Sulfus after all.
Later on the bus, Omnia and Gnosis remark on how they repaired the colosseum and wiped the memories of the tourists. While everyone else is asleep, Sulfus is watching Raf as she admires the pendant he gave her. She decides to finally wear and, taking this as a sign of forgiveness, he goes to sleep happy.
