Synopsis[]
Blu is giving an update to her employers that Sulfus has obeyed their orders to ignore Raf. This delights them as it will confuse the angel, though they refuse to explain how this relates to their plot. Instead, they give Blu her next task.
Over at the Golden School, it’s the first day of classes and Miki is rushing Dolce to finish up her makeup as they're running late. In her own room, Raf is writing in her diary of how Sulfus is acting strange and desires to find out why. Urie comes to get her, saying that instead of class, they’ve been asked to come to the meeting hall. Raf thinks Arkhan and Temptel wish to greet them.
As the angels arrive, they are pelted by paper balls from the devils' side. When Urie makes a snide towards Gas, Cabiria jokes about her speaking without Raf's permission, insulting Urie. The conversations are broken up by the arrival of two strangers. Cassidy, an angel, and Kubral, a devil, who introduce themselves as the new headmasters of the Golden School, replacing Arkhan and Temptel to the shock of the students.
They describe how this year will be different, filled with new teachers, new studies, and new humans to look after. They present the students with a brand new tool, the Textbooks, which contains all the information they will need on their humans as well as keeping track of how angelic or diabolic they become. This finished, they shoo the students off to class with warnings not to lose their books.
In their first period classes, History, Literature, and Geography for Angels/Devils, the students are given a rundown of what they'll be studying this year from their other new teachers, Sweet Mistress Omnia (Angels) and Gnosis (Devils). Dolce is already dozing off in school while Kabale and Cabiria don’t wait to start pranking their new instructor.
Before long it's time for their next class, Projection and Personification, and the angels are delighted to see their instructor is Terrence, whom they met at Sunny College. To show them what their class will be about, he takes them to the Angelic Fashion Department, which amazes his students. At the same time, the devils have reacquainted with Scarlett who shows them their own Fashion department in gothic style. Gas forgets his heartbreak for Temptel's absence in favor of fawning over Scarlett, to the amusement of his friends.
At last they arrive to their third period, How to Guard/ Tempt Earthlings, which is taught by the new headmasters themselves. Cassidy and Kubral declare that their first step is to know their enemies, grilling the students about their rivals and pointing out a need to know them better. The best method being invading their privacy which Cabiria and Kabale are onboard for, suggesting they break into the angel dorms. Gas questions if this isn't against the rules and when Kubral reminds him that the rules of VETO only apply to direct obstruction, he's glad to jump in too. At the same time, Blu has broken into the angelic and diabolic dorms, leaving notes and messages among their belongings.
Sometime later, the angels are out in the campus park, watching for the devils while Raf declares how uncomfortable she feels with breaking into their rivals' rooms. The others defend that Cassidy would know best. The devils finally come walking by and the angels rush to get into their abandoned building. Meanwhile, Cabiria's mascot, Arachnid, informs her they now have access to the angle dorms and the devils head off to invade their space. Sulfus is hesitant but caves to Gas's peer pressure.
While perusing through Raf's diary, Sulfus sees her latest entry as she wonders about his weird behavior. He laments that he can't tell her the truth of what's going on. Cabiria comes charging in, having found a drawing supposedly made by Urie that declares she has no fashion sense to her fury. Over in the devil dorms, Urie finds a similar picture, supposedly by Cabiria, that implies Urie is ruled over by Raf. Dolce is upset that she read Kabale's diary and found it insulting her. Miki likewise sees an entry in Gas's journal that declares her lazy and apathetic. Unknown to them, Blu is hidden in the room, listening to their complaints and happy they've fallen for her tricks. Raf logs onto Sulfus's laptop and sees a message about him liking another girl, which deeply shocks her.
Late, she confronts Sulfus over this new girl he likes and he declares this nonsense while she thinks she was foolish to believe the love declarations of a devil. Sulfus wants to explain everything to her but the hypnotized Basilisco keeps him silent, a reminder that Raf's mother will be harmed if he should reveal the plot. Raf declares they are now enemies and flies off, angry and heartbroken.
The two blackmailers are watching all of this from their secret base, laughing at how upset Raf is, with plans to worsen her mood.
